Breakthroughs: The Leadership Palm Beach County Summit

This summit will bring together community leaders from the private, public and non-profit sectors to understand some of the community’s toughest challenges and develop real solutions to solve them in 100 days.

3 Key Issues - Voted on at the Think Tank:

• Students Connect: Building Behavioral Health Clubs in Schools
  • In 100 days, we will engage 10 PBC high schools to initiate student-led behavioral health clubs. Designed to mobilize students, spread behavioral health awareness, and challenge stigma. The on-campus groups could offer fun activities and opportunities to connect with the behavioral health community. Partnering with existing clubs, we will offer a framework for additional schools to build future clubs.
• Census 2020
  • 100 days to create awareness and overcome fear, apathy and wrongful assumptions, which will increase participation and achieve a complete count. This will lead to an economic impact of $24 billion over ten years in PBC.
• Circles Palm Beach County: From Surviving to Thriving
  • In 100 days, we can impact individuals in our community in intergenerational & situational poverty by committing to be an ally, support families, and mentor. You can allow someone to know they matter.
