Event Details

Join industry leaders as they discuss the state of the life sciences industry in Palm Beach County and share their insights for how this industry may grow and change in the short- and long-term future.

When Palm Beach County first began discussions of bringing The Scripps Institute to Jupiter nearly 20 years ago, County residents were promised a lucrative biotech village in northern Palm Beach County that would bring many high-paying jobs to the area. Since the opening of Scripps Florida, we have welcomed the Max Planck Florida Institute, seen growth of Florida Atlantic University's Honors College, and, most recently, witnessed the transfer of Scripps Florida from the Scripps Research organization to the University of Florida. Now, nearly two decades after the inception of this biotech industry in our community, we turn to local industry experts to see if the vision of a life science cluster has come to fruition, what is going on currently to grow the industry, and what we can expect in the future.

Space is limited, so register now! In-Person Registration includes boxed lunch.

Moderator: Kelly Smallridge, President & CEO, Business Development Board of Palm Beach County
