In the early 1960s, President John F. Kennedy announced that a man would land on the Moon by the end of the decade accelerating the development of Florida’s "Space Coast. In October 2024, six Palm Beach County brain health and science visionaries launched a vision for our next frontier: The Brain Coast: A Vision for South Florida. Together, they aim to accelerate innovation in diagnosing, treating, and curing neurodegenerative diseases, psychiatric disorders, and other brain conditions that affect 8 to 10 Americans.
